3. Promote coloration before maturity. When the tomato fruit is eight or nine, 40% of the ethephon 100-200 times liquid can be used to point the branch above the stem (5-8 mm long) with a brush to promote early ripening and coloring of the fruit and increase yield. But pay attention, do not spray or point on ethephon, otherwise it will not only make the plant aging in advance, but also affect the commerciality of the fruit. The ripened fruit will not tolerate transportation. The time should not be too early, otherwise the fruit will be ripe early, resulting in reduced yield and reduced yield.
4. Top-up potassium fertilizer. Tomatoes are poorly colored when potassium deficiency, tendon rot is easy to occur, and yield is low. Therefore, when the fruit diameter exceeds 3 cm and begins to enter the expansion period, 10 to 20 kg of potassium sulfate is irrigated each time per acre of water to increase the weight of the fruit, reduce the hollow fruit, make it taste good, and the color is bright.
