Polypodium and Tilapia Polyculture Technology

American channel catfish, also known as gully; tilapia, also known as African trout. In this paper, we use the catfishes as the main fish and tilapia as the breeding fish. We use the “80:20” pond culture model to breed and obtain a high-yield and high-efficiency culture technique. The breeding techniques are described below.

1. Pond conditions

The pond requires no leakage, drainage and irrigation are convenient, the water source is sufficient, and the water quality is fresh. The area is generally 3~10 mu, and the maximum is no more than 10 mu, and the water depth is preferably 1.5~2.5 meters. The pond is ventilated to the sun, surrounded by no tall trees or houses, and the shape should be neatly arranged, preferably in an east-west rectangular shape. The farms have convenient transportation and sufficient electricity. One aerator with a power of 1.5kw is used for every 4~6 mu of ponds.

2. Preparation

The sewage cleaning pool drains or drains the pool water in the winter time to expose the bottom of the pond and promote the oxidation and degradation of the organic matter in the sludge. If the sludge at the bottom of the pond is too thick, bulldozers, etc. should be used to remove excess sludge. Then expose.

Disinfection of ponds Before the stocking of fish species, clear ponds should be used for drugs. The main drugs in clear ponds include lime, bleach, and tea bran. The method is to put the advanced water in the pond about 10 to 20cm 15 days before the fish is put, and use the quicklime to dilute 100~125kg/mu with the water and pour the slurry into the whole pool evenly. After 5 days, use the tea bran 25~30kg/mu to spray the whole pool evenly. Kill wild fish. After the next day, the pond starts to enter the water. When entering the water, the water body should be screened and filtered, and the water can reach a depth of 80~100cm.

After the water is sterilized, the water body is sterilized with bleaching powder of 0.5-0.75 kg/mu or dibromohydantoin of 0.25 kg/mu.

Fertilizing, applying water, fertilizing, and cultivating water can be carried out after 3 days of water disinfection. Generally, inorganic fertilizer and organic fertilizer can be used for water training. Inorganic fertilizer can be applied to water by applying basal fertilizer and topdressing methods, basal urea with 3kg/mu, phosphate fertilizer 0.5kg/mu; topdressing, daily urea, compound fertilizer 0.3kg/mu, calcium carbonate 0.5kg/mu. The method of fertilization is to dissolve the fertilizer in water and spread it evenly over the water. The fertilization time is noon on sunny days and no fertilization on rainy days. Fertilizers were applied once a day for several days until the water clarity of the pool was about 25 cm. Organic fertilizer is used to purify water, usually 300 to 500 kg of fermented manure per mu, or 500 to 700 kg of green manure.
