Excellent optical performance, flexible scalability, from clinical to scientific applications
Arm separation for improved system performance
The BX51 uses a completely new structure, that is, the transmitted light arm is separated from the microscope body, which gives the user greater freedom to configure the system according to their choice.
Observe from 1.25X to 100X without changing the condenser ☆
The seven-hole objective lens transducer U-D7RE can be mounted with seven objective lenses. When viewed continuously from 1.25X to 100X, this objective converter can be used in combination with the U-SC3 pendulum condenser (also compatible with the BX41).
☆ When using a 1.25X objective lens, use ultra-low magnification condenser U-ULC-2.
Up to 4 color filters can be built in
The BX51 is equipped with three color filters (ND6, ND25, LBD) on the mirror base, and an optional fourth. The lever on the side of the mirror base can be easily inserted/removed from the color filter.
Fluorescent unit indicator light, easily identifiable in dark rooms
Uses a bright, easy-to-recognize self-illuminating label to indicate the fluoroscope assembly, which is easy to see in a dark room. The ability to display three fluorescent component positions simultaneously makes it easy and intuitive to select the next color filter.
The DP70 Microscope Digital Camera and DP-BSW Software
captures high-resolution images equivalent to 12.5 megapixels at high speeds, providing clear fluorescence images with high sensitivity and low noise (equivalent to ISO100---1600). A user-friendly GUI (Graphical User Interface) enables fast, easy capture, adjustment and storage of digital images.
New advances in Olympus fluorescence observations
Two types of illuminators are available: the highly stable reflected light illuminator BX-UR2 built into the arm and the fluorescent illuminator BX-RFA. Both can be fitted with six fluoroscope components that can be easily converted with a turntable. Efficient illumination enables doubling the brightness of traditional fluorescent images at low magnifications.
Nomaschi DIC observation, image optimization based on sample characteristics
BX51/BX41 with different DIC slides in order to get the best image for different samples. Use the following types: U-DICT or U-DICTS for comprehensive high performance; U-DICTHC for high contrast imaging of thin samples, U-DICTHR for high resolution, glare-free imaging of thick samples . An 8-hole universal condenser (optional) can be combined with other optical components for brightfield, darkfield, phase contrast, Nomsky DIC, and simple polarized viewing.
