Early Spring Goose feeding and management

From early March to early April each year, early spring geese can be reared, generally for 60-70 days, with an average weight of 2.5 kg or more. The economic benefits are significant. During this period, the following work was mainly done: Goslings feeding goslings love to eat leafy foods. Goslings can be eaten to cut the vegetables into filaments, mixed with half-cooked minced rice, generally broken rice accounted for 20% -30%, greens accounted for 70% -80%. Spread the mash into a clean straw mat or a plastic film and let the geese eat freely. The first week of hatching, feeding 6-7 times during the day, feeding 2-3 times at night. As the gosling grows, feeding times can be gradually reduced. Early spring is colder and you can put a basin in the house to let goslings drink water freely. After the day is warm, goslings can be packed in bamboo baskets and played in the shallow water of the river. The time should not be too long, once every 2-3 minutes, 2-3 times a day. One week later, at noon on sunny days, the goslings can be rushed to the river. In addition, the indoor temperature of 1-2 weeks must be above 20°C. The bedding should be diligently changed to keep the ground clean and dry. The geese grazing for the first time to grazing, to choose a sunny day without wind, feed the goslings to finish the food, put them to the nearby grass, let them freely, after an hour of activity, let the geese return to the shed to rest, then slow Slowly extend grazing time and distance. After 3 weeks, the animals can be grazing in the daytime and feed only once in the evening. After 4 weeks, there is no need for feeding in the evening. Generally 250-300 geese are in a group. It is more appropriate for the two to manage. It is best to drive the geese into rectangles and let them move forward slowly, not too fast. Let all the goose eat grass. As soon as the morning dawns, you can drive the geese out of the shed and let them eat dewy grass. Afternoon rushed back to the shed to rest, go out in the afternoon and return to the shed in the sunset. If you grazing in the fields all day long, you must rush the geese to rest in the shade at noon. Disease prevention and control Feeding early spring geese mainly control gosling plague and influenza. The main thing is to strengthen disinfection. Before taking the geese, spray the ground and utensils with 5% caustic soda, then fumigate, especially the hatchery, goslings, bedding, transport vehicles, etc. must be disinfected. Prevention and control of goslings mainly rely on vaccination to increase immunity. Adult geese were vaccinated with gosling plague vaccine. Each goose was injected with 1 ml of a 1:100-fold diluted gosling larvae 1 month before laying. After 1 month of immunization, the eggs were left in the mother goose. With antibodies, hatched goslings can be immunized. In the early stage of disease, use 100ml of benzoyl peroxide to add 50kg of fresh water and 500g of multi-dimensional glucose to the goose twice a day. This can inhibit the deterioration of the disease and promote the recovery of the body. For the prevention of influenza, terramycin can be ground into powder and fed with 20% of the feed. Penicillin treatment can be used for intramuscular injection of 20,000 units per kilogram of body weight. In addition, garlic filling with sugar water can also be prevented and treated. In addition, disinfection should be strengthened. Before taking the geese, ground the floor and utensils with 5% caustic soda, then fumigate, especially hatchery, goslings, bedding, transportation vehicles, etc. must be disinfected.
