New Seabuckthorn Variety "Xinjian Seabuckthorn No. 1"

"Xinjia Seabuckthorn No. 1" is a new species of sea buckthorn that was bred from natural seedlings of the seabuckthorn variety Wulanshalin. The fruit has an oval shape with an average of 100 kernels and a weight of 63.4 g. The maximum fruit weight is 1.2 g. It is dark orange and has a red roof. The total sugar content is 7.14%, the total acid content is 0.65%, and the vitamin C content is 2,814 mg/kg. The total flavonoid content was 1680 mg/kg. After drying, the crude fat content was 4.68%, vitamin E content was 78.9 mg/kg, β-carotene content was 268.10 mg/kg, total flavonoid content was 753.4 mg/kg, total amino acid content 2779.5 mg/kg. In northern Xinjiang, fruit matured in early August. This breed passed the examination and approval of the Forest Timber Certification Committee of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region in December 2010.
