In less than two months, Premier Li Keqiang and Vice Premier Sun Chunlan successively inspected the Yinchuan First People's Hospital, the base hospital of the Yinchuan Smart Internet Hospital. Both prime ministers fully affirmed the hospital's "Internet + medical health" innovation.

Premier Kr. also stressed that Ningxia should build a national-level "Internet + medical health" demonstration zone, and the state will actively support it. The intensive inspection of a medical institution by the two prime ministers is unprecedented. The State Council’s positive support for “Internet + medical health” was clearly demonstrated. Internet medical development has ushered in a period of policy opportunities.

The Yinchuan Smart Internet Hospital was jointly established by the “Good Doctor Online” and the Yinchuan Municipal Government. In October last year, my colleagues and I investigated the First People's Hospital of Yinchuan City. At that time, Ma Xiaofei, the dean of the hospital, enthusiastically took us to visit the remote clinic platform that they cooperated with the doctors online, and introduced in detail the significant effect of this move on the development of the hospital. We watched the remote diagnosis and treatment of the patients in the hospital through the Internet and the doctors in Beijing, as well as the remote diagnosis and treatment of doctors and local grassroots hospitals. We also investigated the "Good Doctor Online" set up in Yinchuan's Internet Hospital Operations Management Center to understand its business model and development path.

Good doctor online, is the first Internet medical service platform I contacted. In 2009, my mother came to Beijing for surgery. I was the hospital and surgeon who was selected through this platform. The criteria chosen at the time were medical reliability (through patient evaluation on the platform and doctor's Q&A judgment) plus hospitalization (care).

According to this standard, I chose the 306 hospital near the home. The chief surgeon is the director of Wu Jigong. So far, my relatives and friends have asked me to introduce the hospital and doctors. I usually go to the "good doctor online" to inquire about it, and then put forward my suggestion. Not bad, these suggestions have been recognized by friends and family, and the effect is not bad afterwards.

Frankly speaking, although the convenience brought by the Internet medical service platform was felt at the time, the importance of this new service model was not deeply considered.

Friends who have read my series of articles should note that in recent years, my focus has been on new medical service models, especially Internet medical treatment. I believe that this is a rare opportunity for China's medical reform to succeed and China's medical service system to achieve cornering overtaking.

The change in understanding took place in 2012. At that time, I was struggling with the medical reform. It was very strange that the simple and simple things were broken into a situation that was always speechless. This year, I accidentally saw Harvard management master Christensen's "Innovator's Prescription". After reading it, I felt a sense of openness. Later I translated the book into Chinese. This book makes me realize that there are few successful cases in hard-to-hard reforms. Most of the successes in transformation come from business model innovations (induced by technological advances). The new model will overturn the old "warning reforms but stakeholders reject reforms." mode.

With this perspective, we will review the magnificent reform and opening up process for more than 30 years and realize that most of the hard-won reforms have not been successful. A large part of the so-called reform success is as follows: (business advancement leads to) business model innovation Subverted the old model.

For example, the reform of the commercial circulation system was struggling in the 1980s. Later, Zheng Baiwen, Gome, Suning, Taobao, and Jingdong emerged. A series of model innovations have unwittingly solved the problem of commercial circulation system reform. For example, the telecommunications system. Reform, the fixed-line business reform in the 1990s was difficult, and the development of mobile communication services finally solved this reform problem. The long-distance roaming fee problem in mobile communication is also a problem of reform. The new business model of WeChat has emerged. The roaming fee was cancelled without alarm.

It must be pointed out that the success of business model innovation is based on the reform and opening-up line that Comrade Deng Xiaoping determined in the past. The essence of the policy is to allow for “daringly and boldly” for new things and new models.

If the stock is partially changed, it will be put on hold for a while, and the increment will be released. The incremental development has grown, and the stock problem has largely been resolved, and the medical reform has been the same. The reform of public hospitals has not been so much progress in the past few years. If we can open up new ways through the Internet, so that doctors can establish their personal reputation and brand, and gradually break the monopoly of public hospitals, many problems can be solved.
