Saccharification of feed

Concentrates such as corn, barley, and sorghum are rich in starch. If saccharification is performed, some of the starch can be converted to maltose, which not only improves feed palatability, but also facilitates digestion.

First put the crushed concentrate into a container, then pour 2~2.5 times hot water of 80°C~90°C into a paste. In order to prevent the feed temperature from falling rapidly, sprinkle a thick layer on the feed surface. About 5 cm of dry material surface, covered with a wooden cover or plastic film, so that the temperature is maintained at about 55 °C ~ 60 °C, about 3 ~ 4 hours to feed saccharification.

For saccharified feed, the best storage time is not more than 14 hours, so it is advisable to follow the system and feed it to avoid spoilage.
