1. Sample excitation and computer operation.
1. For the sake of safety, the operation of the computer and the excitation of the sample must be performed by one person.
2. After the sample is placed, the computer can be used to excite the sample.
3. Pay attention to three points when inspiring the operation of the post. The first point is to listen to the sound, the sample is not placed well, and when there is a leak, the sound is not normal. The second point is to check the excitation discharge spot, the agglomeration discharge is good, and the diffusion discharge (white point) is not good. The third point is to check whether there are tiny cracks, stomata and blisters at the position of the excitation point, whether there is overlap of the excitation points, etc., and provide an important reference for data processing work.
4. Each sample must be excited twice or more.
5. When the computer is operating, the number, number and type of steel should be recorded, and the operator's name should be recorded.
2. Data processing operations.

3. Standardized operation and tracing operation of the working curve.

2. Standardized operation is performed once per shift. If the operator believes that the results of the analysis of the accelerated steel are stable, the standardized data of the previous shift can be used. When the individual elements deviate too much during the analysis, standardization can be carried out to ensure the accuracy of the analysis results.
3. When standardizing the operation, it is best to use a new grinding wheel to face the standardized sample.
4. During the standardization process, check the number of the standardized sample and enter as needed. Do not careless input.
5. After the standardization operation is completed, check the coefficient and compensation value, and compare with the previous one, do not change too much.
4. Control the use of the sample.
1. Analyze the sample in the furnace should use the same steel type as possible, and control the standard sample close to the content.
2, a control sample is difficult to meet the requirements of multi-element analysis, try to achieve the sample content is close to the control of the composition of the standard steel.
3. For special cases, when individual elements are close to the edge specification or exceed the standard, the appropriate amount of standard steel should be selected for control.
4, should always contact the electric furnace, take the spectrum control steel within the spectrum, rapid analysis in the furnace, should try to take the control of the standard steel as well.
5. For the finished sample, pay attention to the state of the sample (refer to quenching, annealing state) and select the appropriate control standard steel.
5. The use of argon.
1. Before changing the argon gas, first put the gas in the bottle empty, so that the soil contaminated by the bottle mouth is blown clean.
2. Before connecting the argon gas meter, try to check whether the bottle mouth leaks. If the air leak is found, replace the bottle with another one. If there is no air leakage, fasten the meter head to the argon bottle. Slowly open a pressure valve on the bottle, so that the pressure gauge pointer gradually goes up, and then slowly adjust the pressure of the secondary meter to rise to the specified reading: 0.15MPa air source (depending on the difference between different brands of instruments), and Provision: Normal standby state: flow rate is 0.1-0.5L/min. High-flow flushing before excitation is 5-8L/min excitation flow rate 3-5L/min
3. After each new argon change, the working curve must be renormalized.
4. When the pressure inside the bottle drops to 15 atmospheres, it is necessary to replace the new argon gas; if it is found that the excitation spot is white, it should be replaced with a new bottle of argon.
6, the use of air conditioners.
1. The temperature of the machine room of the direct reading spectrometer is required to be controlled at 23-25C, which is automatically controlled by the air conditioner.
2. When the weather temperature is high, the number of refrigeration of the air conditioner is relatively high. Therefore, the door of the engine room should be closed frequently to maintain the indoor temperature, so that the cold air will not be lost, reduce the number of refrigeration, and prolong the service life of the refrigerator.
3. The cooling and heating of the air conditioner are controlled by the white shift personnel. When the machine is abnormal during use, the power should be cut off immediately.
4. After using the air conditioner for 10-15 days, clean the dust on the filter net.
5. Prevent the malfunction of the cooling and heating conversion switch. Please seal the switch cooling position with tape. If the error is operated for a certain interval of 3 minutes, the switch will start.
6. If the air conditioner is not used for a long time, turn off the main power switch, unplug the headstock, and wrap the outdoor unit with the package to prevent dust from entering. Clean the air conditioner filter with a neutral detergent.
7. Switching operation of photoelectric direct reading spectrometer, argon gas must be connected before the photoelectric direct reading spectrometer is used.

(1) After starting the machine, it takes at least 4 hours to perform the analysis. This is mainly because the photomultiplier of the measurement and control system needs to reach a steady state. The internal temperature of the spectrometer needs to be stable. Under normal circumstances, the measurement and control system should work continuously in the day and night. Once the power is turned off, it must be warmed up again after turning it on again.
(2) When the high voltage of the photomultiplier tube power supply needs to be adjusted, it must be carried out by an experienced person to avoid electric shock.
(3) After turning on the power, wait for the indicator to light. If this is not the case, press the "Reset" button.
