Late autumn slaughter is good
The most suitable environmental temperature for beef cattle is 7°C~27°C, and relative humidity is 65%~70%. If the temperature is too high, it will cause heat stress on beef cattle, which is not only bad for fattening, but also has adverse effects on the health of beef cattle. . Therefore, the best fattening season is when the temperature is below 30°C. The suitable temperature will play a good role in increasing the feed intake of beef cattle and improving the feed utilization rate. It can also reduce the infestation of cattle by external parasites such as mosquitoes and flies, and reduce the loss of physical energy of beef cattle, which is beneficial to fattening. The fattening season for beef cattle is spring and autumn, and the end of fall is preferred for slaughter. Excessively low temperatures in winter and high temperatures in summer are not conducive to beef cattle gaining weight. If you choose to fatten beef cattle in winter and summer, you must do a good job of preventing heat and cold.
If you don’t have enough money to invest in cattle, but want to make a lot of money, you have to rely on perseverance, enthusiasm, and patience. If you start with 10 basic cows, you can use cows as an auxiliary business at the beginning, and raise cows while doing other work, and try to save all expenses. As long as we can persist for 10 years, the number of stocks can reach 100 or more. It is still relatively easy to earn 20,000 to 300,000 yuan a year.
Out of the mistake of cattle breeding
Misunderstanding 1: The problem of cowshed It is recommended that the cowshed be economical and practical. From infrastructure facilities for cattle farms to the introduction of beef cattle, a large amount of capital investment is required, which may lead to a vicious circle of shortage of funds and poor production. In the south, open cow houses can be built, usually with steel structures. Closed cow houses are generally used in northern areas.
Misunderstanding 2: Some breeds of beef cattle have problems in scale. Some farms lack animal husbandry and veterinary technicians. They have low awareness of breeds and cannot carry out variety improvement work. References and improvements of fine breeds cannot be matched and followed up in time. Fattening techniques are relatively backward. Recommended breeds include Simmental, Limousin and Charolais cattle. If it is to be used as a seed, it is recommended to choose purebred cattle of these three kinds of cattle.
Myth #3: Problems with cattle medication Some beef cattle farms do not employ professional veterinarians to save costs. They also superstitiously believe in antibiotics and mistakenly believe that the antibiotics are "a cure for all diseases." They can also be used as preventive drugs during the breeding process. Artificially add antibiotics or hormones to achieve the purpose of enhancing disease resistance of livestock and poultry and increasing the rate of weight gain. Some breeders blindly pursue antibiotics as new and better, more expensive and better, and higher grades as much as possible, while ignoring the fundamental principle of premedication.
Myth # 4: Cattle Breeding Problems During the breeding of cattle, it is not the better to feed the fine material, but it depends on the condition of the cattle. Some farm owners are unfamiliar with the growth and development patterns and physiological characteristics of the cattle on the shelf. They cannot use scientific fattening techniques properly, blindly extend the fattening time, or blindly add high-protein concentrates to increase the fattening costs, but reduce the Aquaculture benefits. During the early period of beef cattle fattening, the cattle should be allowed to grow their skeletons first, and after the skeletons are developed, they are concentrated and fattened.
