Overview of precipitation methods in water treatment
Precipitation is one of the most basic methods in water treatment. It is a process of utilizing the difference in density between suspended particles and water in water to cause sinking under the action of gravity to achieve solid-liquid separation.
Depending on the nature of the wastewater and the degree of treatment required, the precipitation treatment process can be a process throughout the water treatment process and can be used as the sole treatment. In a typical wastewater treatment plant, the precipitation method can be used in the following ways:
1. Pretreatment of sewage treatment system
For example, a grit chamber is often used as a pretreatment method to remove inorganic particulate matter that is easy to settle in sewage.
2. Primary treatment of sewage (primary sedimentation tank, referred to as primary sedimentation tank)
The primary sedimentation tank can remove suspended solids in the sewage more economically and effectively, and at the same time remove a part of the suspended organic matter to reduce the organic load of the subsequent biological treatment structure. Sometimes the primary sedimentation tank is also used separately, and the sewage is discharged after being treated in a first stage.
3. Solid-liquid separation after biological treatment (secondary sedimentation tank, referred to as secondary sedimentation tank)
The secondary sedimentation tank is mainly used to separate the activated sludge in the suspension growth biological treatment process, the biofilm which is shed in the biofilm process, and the like, so that the treated effluent can be clarified.
4. Sludge concentration in the sludge treatment stage
The sludge thickening tank further concentrates the sludge from the secondary settling tank or the secondary settling tank and the primary settling tank sludge to reduce the volume, reduce the size, processing load and operating cost of the subsequent structures.

Laser Line Generator Lenses, also known as Powell lenses, generate a straight, uniform laser line by fanning out a collimated beam in one dimension, as shown in the diagram above. The apex of each lens features an aspheric curve that evenly distributes the optical power, resulting in an intensity variation of less than 25% over the center portion of the line. You will get more even energy distribution along the laser line than using the rod lenses and lenses.
